The citation ceremony was held in the evening on 12th Feburary . Mr. Gauhar Raza Scientist and Head, Multimedia division CSIR presided over the function. Mr. Gauhar Raza in his address urged the students to search their own paths and work hard to attain their goals. His lecture was intersposed with interesting anecdotes and poetry.Mrs.P.Ranjan and Dr.Pradeep Mishra who spoke on behalf of the parents reminisced about their children’s journey of fourteen years in the school and thanked the teachers. Dr. Rajni Kumar addressed the students and wished them success in all their future endeavors.The student’s citations were read by the Principal with the class teachers lighting their lamps.The occasion was also graced by Gen. Narinder Singh, members of the managing board and the OSA representative.

The Junior Sports Festival of Springdales, Kirti Nagar and Pusa Road was held on February 12th and February 13th at the school premises. Mrs. Marukh Singh, Director Educom Solutions Pvt Ltd was the Chief Guest on the first day and General Narinder Singh, Chairperson of Springdales, Pusa Road presided over the function on the second day.The students of Nursery, Prep and Std I presented colourful drills that matched the spirit of all present. Their races like dainty daisies, naughty monkeys and ecstatic elephants were a treat for the eyes with the tiny tots running with a lot of enthusiasm.On day two, students of Std II – V presented a procession to mark the beginning of the ICC World Cup. The drill presentations were fascinating and The colour of the costume matched the outfit of the country they were representing.The sports day displayed the importance that Springdales lays on the holistic development of the children.

The Big Day.Incessant rain in the early hours of Saturday led to the postponement of the event by an hour and a half.The event itself was a gala event with coordinated marches and spectacular drills that won the appreciation of audience and guests.Some track events were also held and prizes given for the same.The Chief Guest, Mrs. Madhumita Bisht – Arjuna
Awardee, Padma Shri and an ace badminton player commended the schools efforts in building a culture of sports among the students. The welcome address was given by the school’s Academic Supervisor, Mrs. Anita Luthra and the school Principal Mrs. Ameeta Mulla Wattal proposed the vote of thanks.Mrs.Rajni Kumar, Chairperson Springdales Education Society,Maj. Gen Narinder Singh- Chairman, Managing Board and Mr. Nirmalya Samanta – Member Managing Board were also present.
